Amber Scoon makes art, books and events. She is from Pelham, MA. She received her BS from New York University, her MFA in painting from American University's two year program in Italy and her PhD in Philosophy, Art and Critical Thought from the European Graduate School in Switzerland. Amber is the John Berger Fellow at the European Graduate School. In 2013, Amber published听Quantum Art. In 2017, Amber published three books: the second, revised edition of Quantum Art, called听Quantum Art: Mimesis, Uncertainty and the Infinite听;听Conversations and Uncertainty听, a collection of essays inspired by conversations with heroes and听?, co-written with artist Glenn Golberg. In 2020, Amber published听Letters to John Berger听(Atropos Press, Dresden/New York).
