AFFILIATED EVENT: JAMES ROOSEVELT: FDR’S FORGOTTEN FATHER: Anyone familiar with the story of Franklin Roosevelt knows of the very close relationship he had with his often domineering mother. But what do we know about his other parental influence? This presentation at 6 p.m. will examine the influence Franklin鈥檚 father James had on shaping the views, values and temperament of the 32nd president of the United States.
