We’re excited to share our program’s long-standing tradition of these open mics with the local community beyond the boundaries of our campus with an evening of storytelling\, poetry\, and prose of every kind at The Market at The Meetinghouse. Our scholar will examine the clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment and the battle over their meaning from Reconstruction up until the present moment\, highlighting topics such America’s first and second civil rights movements\, the Constitution and women\, and modern interpretations of the 14th Amendment.
