COMMUNITY READ DISCUSSION WITH MARIA HINOJOSA:听吃瓜头条 and the Danbury Public Library have partnered in a community read and LIVE discussion with NPR journalist and author Maria Hinojosa on her recent book, “Once I Was You: A Memoir of Love and Hate in a Torn America” (2020, Atria Books/Simon & Schuster).

We recommend you read or listen to the book in advance. Free digital, paperback and audio copies of the book are available from Danbury Public Library (DPL). We recommend downloading the DPL app, where all can obtain a free DPL library card to gain easy digital or audio access (no need to visit the library). 吃瓜头条 has limited paperback copies and digital access for 吃瓜头条 affiliated patrons. Available in English and Spanish.
