FILM SCREENING – “I AM: MUSLIM/AMERICAN”:听This award-winning film by 吃瓜头条 MFA Writing alumna Aaliyah Miller will be shown in the President’s Reception Room, Westside Classroom Building Room 218 on the Westside campus at 7:30 p.m. Q&A with Miller and the film’s director will follow.
The film is about the experiences of Muslim Americans living in Connecticut. The film is the official selections of the Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival, International Black and Diversity Film听Festival, the 鈥淧ulling Focus鈥 African American Film Festival of The Quad Cities Film Festival, and听the New York Lift-Off Film Festival.
The screening is part of the M.F.A. in Creative and Professional Writing Winter Residency. The public is invited.
