DESCRIPTION:BORDERLAND: THE LINE WITHIN 鈥� FILM SCREENING AND VIRTUAL RALLY: Movie screening event featuring 鈥淏orderland: The Line Within\,鈥� a powerful documentary that explores immigration at the border and corporate involvement in the immigration system. The screening will take place at 5 p.m. in the Midtown Student Center Room 110. Following the screening\, we will participate in a virtual National Immigrant Solidarity Rally from 7 to 9 p.m.. This unique opportunity will allow us to engage with the film鈥檚 protagonists\, including:\nGabriela Casta帽eda\nKaxh Mura鈥檒\nAlex Gil\nLuis Osuna\nCarlos Spector\nThe virtual event will bring together filmmakers\, immigration rights leaders\, digital humanists\, students\, and community members nationwide to share experiences\, strategies\, and resources.
