He lives and works in Brooklyn\, New York\, and is a professor of painting and drawing at Hofstra University. A promiscuous reverence for found and foraged materials gives Lee鈥檚 work a recognizable playfulness . . .鈥 Lee is a recipient of awards\, including artist residencies from the Farpath Foundation in Dijon\, France\, and from the Edward Albee Foundation in Montauk\, New York. \nSince 2001\, Lee鈥檚 work has been reviewed in numerous publications: The New York Times\, Los Angeles Times\, Art in America\, Artforum\, New York Magazine\, Huffington Post\, Brooklyn Rail\, and Hyperallergic. \nReserve a spot at www.eventbrite.com/e/visiting-artist-lecture-jim-lee-interdisciplinary-artist-tickets-1153042032759.
