UNDERSTANDING ISRAEL/PALESTINE:ÌýJoin us for a discussion of the ongoing conflict in Israel/Palestine and learn how to find reliable information if you want to learn more. The Social Sciences Department and the Department of History, Philosophy, and World Perspectives are hosting Stanley Heller, who leads the Middle East Crisis Committee of Connecticut and Promoting Enduring Peace for a discussion of recent events in Israel/Palestine. We will also be joined by ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ instructional librarian Dylan Sprague to discuss approaches to finding accurate information on this issue. The event is free and open to all ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ students, faculty and staff. From 6 to 8 p.m.Ìýin the Midtown Student Center Theater.
