Student Assistance Fund

The ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Cares Student Assistance Fund helps ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ students who encounter unexpected emergency expenses.

The ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Cares fund supports our students with different types of assistance, ranging from textbook assistance to short term housing arrangements due to unforeseen financial emergencies that would impact their ability to pursue their education.

The mission of ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Cares is to provide support to students who demonstrate financial hardships due to emergency situations. Our goal is to help students stay in school and make progress toward their degree, and help mitigate barriers based on unforeseen circumstances.

This fund was founded through donations from the SUOAF-AFSCME Administrative Faculty Union, the Student Government Association, and the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Foundation. This fund continues to run based on the continued support from these internal partners and external community partners from the Greater Danbury area and other corporate sponsors.
