What is Let's Get Ready?
Let’s Get Ready is a free, near-peer mentoring program via text message that pairs WestConn students with experienced student mentors.
What鈥檚 a near-peer? It鈥檚 someone close in age and experience to a student in the Let鈥檚 Get Ready program.
Let鈥檚 Get Ready鈥檚 college student coaches are available on your phone via text to answer your questions and to offer encouragement along the way. Let’s Get Ready also sends out texts reminding students of important deadlines and resources to support student success. Coaches will periodically check in to see how students are doing, and students can text their coach whenever they have questions or need support.
