When is Welcome Weekend?

The official first day of Welcome Weekend is Friday, August 21, 2026

Friday, Aug. 21	Move-in day for First year students ONLY – Please be in contact with Housing for time schedule and updates. ACTIVITIES FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS
Friday, Aug.21 – Monday, Aug. 24	Welcome Weekend for all NEW students.
Tuesday, Aug. 25	First day of classes

What other orientation sessions are being held?

There are several New Student Orientation sessions scheduled prior to Welcome Weekend.

What about my parents?

Welcome Weekend is geared mostly towards students to make them feel welcome and comfortable with their new surroundings. However, there will be activities for parents on Friday, August 22, such as the Alumni Legacy Photo (if one or both parents are alumni) and the Entering the Gates��ceremony.
