TITLE: Application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of Productivity in Drug Discovery & Development
ABSTRACT:ÌýThis lecture will give an overview of the impact of AI and machine learning on productivity in pharmaceutical R&D with the focus on three areas – Process engineering & automation, drug design and manufacturing as well as target and biomarker discovery and validation.ÌýThe presentation will cover financial / investment considerations, high level technology considerations and will be illustrated by specific examples from Pfizer R&D.
