Join us for a virtual celebration of interdisciplinary research and learning opportunities.Ìý Learn how research design and evaluation can help you navigate your career in college and beyond. The event will be hosted by the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Chapter of Sigma Xi, the honor society for interdisciplinary research in the sciences and engineering. ÌýThis conference provides an opportunity for students and professionals in the Northeastern US to engage in conversation about study and research opportunities and to network with other Sigma Xi researchers from the Northeastern US.

The 2022 Sigma Xi Northeastern Regional Research Conference
When and Where:
- The meeting will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
- The meeting will begin at 9:15AM with the Welcome Address and Plenary Speaker.
- The Hall of PossibilitiesÌýBreakout Rooms will begin at 10:05AM.
- The meeting will take place virtually; WebEx link to be sent in separate email by 9:00AM on April 30, 2022.ÌýHall of PossibilitiesÌýhosts will receive Breakout Room information in advance of meeting.
Who can host a Hall of PossibilitiesÌýBreakout Room:
- Researchers looking to recruit or hire undergrad and graduate students
- Programs with Scholarships looking to recruit diverse students
- Programs looking for paid interns.

Registrants are welcome to host a Breakout Room between 10:05-10:50am. This room is ideal for investigators and program coordinators looking to recruit students, postdocs, and interns.Ìý We are limiting breakout rooms to 20 to give guests enough time to visit and talk with lead investigators and program coordinators from diverse disciplines. ÌýBreakout Room Hosts must commit to be present in this room for the entire 45 minutes, and then will be invited to join the main meeting at 10:50am. ÌýBreakout Rooms will be selected by the committee on a first-come first serve basis, and we will attempt to make these selections interdisciplinary.Ìý We are encouraging programs currently recruiting students, to use this platform to meet diverse and qualified student applicants.
