Michael Bartoli – Adjunct Professor (Acting I, Acting III, Director)

Michael BartoliÌý(Adjunct Professor)Ìýis an actor, singer and acting coach trained in various theatrical disciplines.ÌýÌýHe holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and an MFA in Classical Acting from The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting atÌýGWU.ÌýThere he appeared in rep productions ofÌýPericlesÌýandÌýWomen Beware Women.ÌýÌý

In 2018 Michael appeared Off-Broadway inÌýA Letter to Harvey Milk,Ìýas Harvey and can be heard on the original cast recording.ÌýÌýOther roles include an equity guest artist appearance as Dorsey in ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ’s award winning production of Parade¸ asÌýwell as roles inÌýHamletÌý(Round Table Theatre Company) andÌýThe SeagullÌý(Wandering Bark Theatre Company),ÌýAÌýMidsummer Night’s DreamÌýandÌýKing LearÌý(Shakespeare NYC), several other Off-Broadway and regional credits and the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.Ìý

Michael also conceived and developed two one-man shows,ÌýComeÌýOnÌýandÌýHearÌýandÌýI’mÌýOld Fashioned, celebrating the Great American Songbook, which have been presented in various cabaret venues and for various cruise lines.ÌýÌý

Of all his work in the theatre, Michael loves teaching most and has been on faculty at Western Connecticut State, Manhattanville College, and The City College of New York teaching acting, musical theatre, and voice and diction. Ìý
